Location
The Temperate Rainforest is mild in temperature with heavy rain. The Temperate Rainforest has four different seasons, which causes changes in the colour and temperature. The Temperate Rainforest is located in the small regions around the world, usually in the Eastern side of regions. However, in Europe, Temperate Rainforest is located across the North and West of the continent, this includes Southern Norway and Northern Spain.
The animal known as the red wolf are near extinction. Humans have an effect their habit and have ruined the way they live. Humans have had an impact in their death with use of motor vehicles, illegal killings, and human development,
climate
The Temperate Rainforest is mild and rainy, The average degree is above 5°C . The hottest it ever gets is roughly 25°C. The hottest times are in the summer, mostly in August. The coldest it gets is in the winter, the lowest degree being 0°C. The rainfall os very high, the lowest amount of rainfall is roughly 40mm, this being the month of February, April, November, and December. The highest surprisingly being June, July, and August.
The biome effects the climate because it is surrounded by water. The ocean has heat around the water that creates the water to get warmer and absorb heat, but in the summer the same water become cooler. The mountains trap some of the air that is coming from the ocean, when winter hits that controls all the temperature and then cause the large amount of rainfall.
Global warming effects on Temperate Rainforest is a huge amount. These rainforests are needing a reduction in greenhouse gas. The gas is going up, so is the cutting of trees and the palm production plants. The green gasses are trapping the heat and those changing the climate around the world.

Climatographs
Welllington, New Zealand
Tofino, British Columbia
The two cities have a two very different temperatures and precipitation. This might be due to New Zealand being a small island at the south of the Earth, while British Columbia is at the north of the Earth. New Zealand also as a whole is cornered by bodies of oceans, while British columbia is only effected by the Eastern area which wont effect the heat as much. This effects the traditions and activities, when they can do it, where they can do it.
Physical features
The Temperate Rainforest have three layers; Canopy, Understory and forest floor. The canopy layer is a layer that is by trees, causing the trees to grow 100 feet tall. The layer underneath the canopy is the under story. The understory being the layer that forced the plants to grow with little sunlight. The last layer being the Forest layer is the mosses, broken branches, and small plants. The layer always is wet.
The Temperate Rainforest has layers one of which being the Forest layer. The Forest layer has soil that is dark and damp. The soil is more rich and full of nutrients than others. This biome promotes the growth of variety of plants. The soil is dependent on decomposes. The process of decomposes is when breaking down the dead or decaying organisms. The decomposition of fungi leaves and tree limbs are what creates this rich soil.
Symbiosis
There are three different kinds of symbiosis, Parasitism, Mutualism, and Commensalism. Parasitism means two organisms and one harming/killing it while the other organism doing it is okay, in the Temperate Rainforest a tick feasts off a deer which is parasitism. Mutualism is when two different species benefit from eachother, in the rainforest this is the bees spreading pollen to flowers. Commensalism is when there is two organisms and one benefits from it while the other one isn't effected, this is like the Tapeworm spreading throughout the fish community which goes to humans that eat undercooked fish.
